Summer Cocktail Recipes
Summer unofficially kicks off with this week’s Memorial Day celebrations. We’re ready for some sun and some sparkly drinks to imbibe in said sun. Grey Goose, the French vodka company, has come up with some new drink recipes for the season, which we’ve reprinted here. Now, they encourage you to use Grey Goose products. We make no such demands. Whatever you use, just don’t drive after consumption!

A snake slithers into a bar and the bartender says, “I’m sorry but I can’t serve you.” “Why not?” asks the snake. The bartender says, “Because you can’t hold your liquor”
Expressing mild exasperation for a moment, the pair narrowed their eyes and softly bit at their lips, showing a little fang. Then they sighed, unfolding their arms to lean forward and rest them on the counter.
“That is not quite the answer we were looking for…” they muttered. It wasn’t as direct as they hoped. They were expecting to be told of a past event in Sparky’s life that served as the stressor, that set off the development of this alternate personality. Was their question perhaps still worded too vaguely, or…was it falsely misinterpreted? They’ll never know for sure, but they would bank on the latter given how much this other side of Sparky seemed to like toying with people.
“…Hm?” They were caught off-guard by the woman’s tense body language as well as her declaring that her time was over for now.
As she started displaying a more meek demeanor, Zaul made a slight tip of his head to the side. ”So yer back, Sparky?”
Looking more relaxed herself, Azura scratched at the back of her head. ”Dodgy one, she was. Um, are you alright? I mean, are you left with another headache and all?”
“Yeah, from th’ seven lairs’n back.”She scratched her head and thought it over.” Well, its not necessarily a headache, um when ya know that feelin when ya just get over a hang over? Yeah.But sleepy, definitely.”She said making a flat palm moving back and forth before running her hand through her bangs.”D’ya have the time?”
Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, ‘and what is the use of a book,’ thought Alice, ‘without pictures or conversations?’
